Additionally, we run a livestock farm where we raise and sell high quality meats such as pork, beef, chicken, lamb, and goat.
Our farm store, located conveniently 10 minutes off the Mass Pike and Route 20, is open year-round, providing fresh, natural, antibiotic-free and humanely raised meat and animal products.
You can purchase our products in person with cash, check, or Venmo. We aim to supply the freshest, healthiest food to our community, emphasizing local products to cut down on preventable illness and promote overall well-being.
We believe in the saying, “You can pay the farmer now or pay the doctor later,” and we’re committed to making fresh, affordable food accessible to everyone, especially those in our community.

Our History
In 2017, we acquired a property that was previously used for recreational purposes and began transforming it into a fully functioning livestock farm. With a vision to create a sustainable and diverse farming operation, we conducted extensive research and selected the Berkshire pig as the foundation of our farm.
We chose the Berkshire pig, a heritage breed known for its generations of breeding, to be the cornerstone of Edible Land Design. Known for its gourmet meat due to superior marbling, Berkshire pork is often found in high-end health food stores like Whole Foods.
In 2021, we expanded our pig breeds to include Hampshire and Duroc pigs, both also heritage breeds. These breeds were chosen for their ability to enhance the quality and growth rate of piglets through hybrid vigor when crossbred with Berkshires. The crossbreeding resulted in piglets that reach market size quicker than purebreds. We now sell purebred Berkshires, Hampshires, Durocs, and their crosses. Due to high demand, we encourage customers to reserve their springtime piglets as early as December or January, with over 100 piglets sold each spring.
We also introduced Hereford cows, another heritage breed. While we do not currently breed Herefords, we source cattle with top genetics and raise them naturally on local hay until they reach market weight.
Our poultry offerings include Pekin ducks and Tuloose geese. For Thanksgiving, heritage breed turkeys are available for reservation starting in September. These turkeys are raised without antibiotics or medication and are picked up fresh, never frozen. Additionally, heritage breed meat chickens are available year-round, with fresh, never frozen chicken offered seasonally. Eggs are also available year-round.
To sustain and support the aggressive growth of our livestock holdings and infrastructure, we started an excavation and construction business. Every job booked through this business is an investment in your local farmer, helping to grow and maintain our diverse operations.
Through our commitment to heritage breeds, sustainable practices, and community investment, we have grown from a simple property into a thriving livestock farm, offering high-quality products and contributing to the local agricultural economy.
